Generational Portrait Project!

36 families will be chosen to participate.

I wanted to celebrate the generations that bind our families together by creating a portrait to stand the test of time. Personal artistic projects are my passion, it helps me grow as an artist and a business owner. This year I am working on a project that will remain an heirloom to each family that participates. I have been a portrait artist for over 28 years and I have created many family portraits but this project is unique. This project is about the various generations that make a family.

This past year has really taught us how valued our loved ones are. So imagine having a fine art black and white portrait of your Grandmother, your Mother and yourself showing the generational tie or your Father, your Brother, his son and Grandson. These types of bonds are the legacy of each generation as life is told. Join me in creating your family's lineage by having a generational portrait created.

At the end of the project, a coffee table album will be produced (and available for purchase), highlighting the collection of unique portraits and stories, with one page devoted to each of the 36 families.

You are invited to apply and receive a portrait session and portrait for your home

Michael Artigas - Elissa
What an amazing family story, thank you for sharing it with me.

Elissa Stanik - The past two years have taught my family that we are stronger together. A year ago my mother overcame her fight with breast cancer. This past March both my dad and his sister were hospitalized with COVID. My aunt unfortunately pasted away. My dad, needing open heart surgery attended his sister’s funeral in a hospital bed on FaceTime. Through it all, we had each other. Our bond only grew stronger. I would love to capture our amazing family and the hardships in health we have overcome in the past two years.

Thank you for the reply, Covid has taught and reminded us that nothing is more important than family.

Tara Swansen - My aunt recently passed away after a 17 year struggle with metastatic breast cancer. Between that and the situation with COVID it made me realize even moreso the importance of family. I’d love to capture this species moments with my mom to have as a keepsake forever.
